Commissions take approximately one month from the date of agreement. Elissa Poma will let you know if the piece can be completed sooner. Rush orders may be available; an additional fee would apply.
All paintings are done on 140-pound, cold-press paper; At your request, 300-pound paper and/or hot-press paper can be used, though an additional materials fee may apply. Elissa does not use 90-pound paper. Inks and paints have been purchased based on the product manufacturers’ assurances of lightfastness and quality; the artist is not responsible for conditions to the contrary.
Elissa will mat and frame items for you using her preferred framing style. If you have a special request for the style of mat and frame, please include in your commission request. Elissa does not upcharge you for the cost of matting/framing – you’ll be charged what the mat and frame cost.
A basic artists contract will be provided to you at the time of commission. Please returned an original signed copy of the contract when you remit payment.
A non-refundable deposit of one-half the total cost is due upfront, to cover materials and expenses.
Domestic and international shipping is available. The cost to ship an artwork – including additional fees for insurance, which the artist requires be paid – is additional. The purchaser may request a specific method of shipping, if preferred.
